Role vacancy – Freelance Speech and Language Therapist for children with Down syndrome

Downright Excellent is looking for a Speech and Language Therapist experienced in supporting children with Down syndrome.

You will work with our children on Fridays (with pre-school children) and/or Saturdays (with school-age children and young people) as part of our expert team of freelancers.

You will ideally have a recognised qualification in speech and language therapy; as well as professional experience working with children with Down syndrome, a similar condition, or additional training in working with children with Down syndrome e.g. Symbol Connect trained.

What are the details?

You will be required to work in-person on Fridays and/or Saturdays from 8.30am – 2pm at our venue in Tower Hamlets (closest station is Hoxton). You may also be required to hold sessions online during the week. We are open to job share arrangements where one person may prefer to work in-person and the other online.

The day rate offered is £200-250, dependent on experience. As a freelancer you do not get holiday or sick pay, or pension contributions.
